1. Arrive at the Docks

After the cinematic where Niko arrives on the cargo ship, he is greeted by Roman.
Roman brings a cab, and after a brief conversation, the mission begins.

2. Drive to Roman’s Apartment

Your first task is to drive Roman’s cab to his apartment in Hove Beach, Broker.
It’s marked on your radar with a yellow blip.
Take it easy — this is a tutorial-style mission with no time limit or enemies.

➤ Driving Tips:

Watch your speed and avoid crashing — this helps you get familiar with GTA IV’s driving physics (which are more realistic than previous GTA games).
Listen to the dialogue between Roman and Niko as it reveals their personalities and backstory.

3. Park in the Designated Spot

Once you reach the apartment, a yellow marker will appear on the pavement.
Park the car in the marker and wait for the cutscene to trigger.

4. Watch the Cutscene

Roman gives Niko a quick tour of the tiny apartment.
You’ll see Niko lie down, exhausted from the journey — marking the end of the mission.
